The River Mall, 4G02-1
(2019)

Unannounced intervention taking the form of a site-specific installation in the River Mall, a shopping mall in Pudong, Shanghai.

After managed to rent a former Taekwondo training hall in the River Mall for a month, I adopted the space as my studio and produced daily drawings which accumalated into a secret exhibition. Every day, I kept the storefront open. Although partly torndown, it still seems to be in business to a lot of eyes. People from the neighborhood would welcome themselves in, wander around, interact with me or not.
